Those who have not visited the historic Karlin quarter for a while are in for a pleasant surprise. This part of town has been completely transformed and has become a trendy spot to live, for offices, cool cafés, restaurants and bars. This stunning Mediteranean restaurant, located on the corner of the lucious Karlínské náměstí, views one of the biggest Gothic Churches in Prague as well as the lucious trees of the Square. The impressive, modern, open-plan interior is decorated with artistic mozaic features recalling the countries boardering the Mediterranean sea. The high ceiling, expansive windows and wide spaces make this a delightful and bright space to dine.
In typical Mediterranean style the menu offers a choice of fish or meat Meze dishes - a selection of starter portion dishes which can be shared between two or more. This is a good way to start, giving you a chance to sample the full range of flavours. Follow up with one of the grilled dishes, the glass-walled kitchen means you can even watch the chef at work! Also look out for monthly-changing, country-themed menus. The waiter will be happy to take you through the extensive wine menu - from France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Israel... - to choose the ideal wine for your meal.
A great place for business lunches, dinner for two or weekend brunch.
